13. Interception / Ambush Loop

Core Player Action

Stop a moving target before it reaches safety.

Core Loop

  1. Learn about a moving target and its partial route.
  2. Predict or scout the route.
  3. Choose an ambush point.
  4. Prepare traps, vehicles, hacks, roadblocks, mines, or firing positions.
  5. Engage the target as it passes through.
  6. Disable, steal from, capture, destroy, or redirect the target.
  7. Escape before reinforcements or counterattack arrive.

Examples

  • Intercept an armored courier.
  • Ambush a gang convoy.
  • Stop a corporate witness transport.
  • Hijack an autonomous cargo truck.
  • Disable a medical evac vehicle.
  • Capture a smuggler before they crosses districts.

Encounter Length

5–15 minutes.
