7. Rescue / Extraction Loop

Core Player Action

Find a trapped, captured, injured, or hunted target and get them out alive.

Core Loop

  1. Learn that someone needs extraction.
  2. Locate the target.
  3. Reach the target through combat, stealth, hacking, bribery, or negotiation.
  4. Free, stabilize, or secure the target.
  5. Move the target toward safety.
  6. Survive pursuit, ambushes, injury, or route problems.
  7. Deliver the target to a safehouse, clinic, faction site, vehicle, or extraction zone.

Examples

  • Rescue a detained NPC from a gang warehouse.
  • Extract a corporate whistleblower.
  • Save a wounded player from hostile territory.
  • Recover a kidnapped ripperdoc.
  • Evacuate civilians from a district riot.

Encounter Length

8–20 minutes.
